HOW IT WORKS

Working Together, Online

Everything happens virtually, so you can deal with your legal matter from anywhere in Alberta.

Andrew Green Law is a virtual practice. There is no office to travel to. Here is what to expect, from your first message to your finished documents.

  1. Book a consultation

Tell us briefly what you need using the contact form. Please keep confidential or time-sensitive details out of the form. You will hear back to arrange a time to talk.

  2. Talk it through

In the consultation, you and Andrew go over your situation and the most practical way forward. If your matter fits one of the published fixed fees, you will know the cost from the start. Otherwise, how your matter will be billed is explained before any work begins.

  3. Complete intake

If you decide to go ahead, you will be sent a secure link to give your information and background details online.

  4. Review and sign

You will receive a secure link to review and sign your agreement electronically.

Because services are provided remotely, any commissioning of documents is arranged and paid for by you. For agreements between two people, such as separation agreements, each person needs their own lawyer for independent legal advice. Andrew can act for only one party.

  5. Receive your documents

Your finished documents, and any instructions for what to do next, are delivered electronically. Costs paid to third parties, such as court filing fees, are paid by you directly.

If you need meetings or documents in a particular format, tell us when you get in touch and we will arrange it.

What Stays the Same

Andrew Green Law does not require retainers and does not act on a contingency basis. You can read how fixed and hourly fees work on the Fees page.
